This course focuses on the beliefs of pediatric nursing, the process and characteristics of child development, and the nursing principles for promoting the health of children.

This course focuses on the physiologic alterations that affect health of children, and the nursing processes for promoting health and managing illness of children and their families.

This clinical practice focuses on the development of the ability to assess specific nursing needs of infants and children at various developmental stages, and on the promotion of the competency in specific skills of nursing intervention in various child care settings.
