Introduction
Community Health Nursing students apply concepts and theories related to community health nursing while learning health management and promotion methods for individuals, families, organizations, groups, and communities. Students are also instructed in community health nursing and nursing business development strategies, learning to identify the characteristics and strengths and weaknesses of the national health care system as well as national health policy trends. Students will then be able to plan, complete, and apply health care projects for individuals, families, organizations, groups, and community nursing recipients in various community practice sites such as public health centers, schools, industrial sites, and communities.
