Introduction

The Nursing Management major instructs students in the values, ideologies, purposes, and roles of modern nursing through providing an understanding of the historical and philosophical concept of nursing, as well as the qualifications necessary to become a nursing expert in various health management systems through learning about nursing management theories and processes. Students apply nursing management theory through actual experience in the field of nursing, thereby improving their ability to perform their role as a nursing manager and cultivating the management skills and attitudes necessary to fulfill their role as a nursing professional. In addition, students seek to establish themselves as nursing professionals by clarifying the characteristics and standards necessary for members of the nursing profession.
