KOREA UNIVERSITY COLLEGE OF NURSING

    Korea University, the country’s most prestigious private university, occupies an important place in the modern and contemporary history of Korea and is now positioned as a center of learning and character education for pioneering the new century. Korea University is transforming itself from a "university of the nation" to a "university of the world" based on its vision and goals, which are both suited to the 21st century, the age of knowledge and information.

    Established in 1942, the Korea University College of Nursing (KUCON), which offers a curriculum that integrates diverse and in-depth clinical experiences with essential research, is changing according to the needs of the current environment. Bold investment and support for education and an excellent faculty are the driving forces behind the KUCON's development and change.

PHILOSPHY AND VISIONS OF NURSING EDUCATION

    The KUCON's educational philosophy is based on Korea University's philosophy of LIBERTAS, JUSTITIA, and VERITAS . Based in LIBERTAS, the fundamental ideology of democracy, KUCON will explore the VERITAS by creatively researching and teaching nursing academic theories and practices, realizing JUSTITIA in society through nursing by utilizing education for the development of the nation and human society. The concrete vision of the KUCON is as follows.
