The Four-year educational program at KUCON combines the latest in clinical theory with traditional nursing values that emphasize holistic patient care. Throughout the program, you take nursing course concurrently with classes in the other colleges of Korea University that contribute to the development of a well educated practitioner.
Objectives
Reflecting the College's philosophy of nursing education, the undergraduate program aims at fostering competent professional nurses, educators, researchers and administrators who can think critically and communicate effectively in a rapidly changing world.
Specific objectives are as follows :
Ⅰ. Perform humanity being based on the life and dignity of man.
Ⅱ. Function as a global nursing professional demanded by the society and nation.
Ⅲ. Apply scientific knowledge related to health of man.
Ⅳ. Assume professional nursing roles with integration of various bodies of knowledge.
Ⅴ. Facilitate the well-being of clients though therapeutic caring relationships.
